Dr Peter Prichard has a particular interest in luminal gastroenterology, and the advanced endoscopic management of gastrointestinal conditions, including interventional gastroscopy and colonoscopy, Bravo capsule pH studies and balloon enteroscopy.
Dr Peter Prichard has been consulting privately as a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Epworth Hospital, Richmond, since 1996. He also holds a public appointment as a Visiting Medical Specialist at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
He studied medicine at Monash University and undertook specialist training and a higher degree at the Austin Hospital. Further advanced training was undertaken at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, UK. Before moving back to Melbourne, he had appointments as a Senior Staff Specialist at Flinders Medical Centre and Director of Gastroenterology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane.
